Margarita first Volunteer
Her story: I met Donna on Thanksgiving Day 2019, Prior to meeting her I saw a notice she was asking for blankets and she invited me to a meeting to be a volunteer.
In a program she created called “ Esther’s Place of Rest “We had a few meeting
I joined her on the streets feeding people our “ sacks of hope” and we gave out blankets, sleeping bags gloves hand warmers.
It was a pleasure to have helped Donna to bring food to people on the streets, and for a few weekends to help the guests at the shelter.
The people were grateful for to have at least one night, shelter, food and a safe clean place to rest. We want to see at least four nights offered.
With her determination guided in confidence from above she will see many more open with the help of her programs.
